Udir has a range of digital services with well-designed user experiences, but with inconsistencies across platforms.
Our team — consisting of one designer and two developers from Bekk, in collaboration with Udir's in-house staff—conducted a thorough and systematic analysis of existing design resources and their usage to identify common needs for components and functionality.
We are currently working on developing and maintaining a design system with flexible components, shared principles, and a unified visual profile that can be seamlessly implemented across Udir’s digital platforms. The process is iterative and involves close collaboration with multiple product teams to ensure the system meets evolving needs. Our work includes structuring visual identities using design tokens, establishing efficient workflows for component design and development, and defining clear guidelines for usage and accessibility.
